After 10 years in its space on Spring Street, Kismet Salon is packing up and heading west to Capitol Hill. In a letter to the Madrona Community Council, salon owner Heather Caldwell expressed her gratitude to the Madrona neighborhood and its residents for their support, and says the salon’s new location on Broadway will allow them to expand in order to offer more services and Aveda products.
You have a few more weeks to visit Kismet at its current location – they’ll be there until September 27 and will open at 512 Broadway Ave. E at the beginning of October. As a thank you to current clients who decide to make the short 2.3-mile trek to the new salon, they’ll be offering 5 percent off services for life and validated parking at one of the neighboring parking lots.
While it’s always disappointing to see long-time businesses leave the neighborhood, we wish Heather and her team the best of luck with their new adventure!
